I’ve lived in the unit for 5yrs no issues with landlord everything has been a smooth ride until some time last year . The condo management has gone down terrible. Fast forward to April this year construction started , the balcony is under construction, the a/c is under repair until further notice(no date given when it’s going to be fixed) so as you can imagine I can’t open the balcony for air neither do I have a/c. The water doesn’t run hot you have to run the tub for 10mins to get there. What has thrown me over is the noise from the construction the drilling is driving me nuts as I work from home it goes on all day and we weren’t told when it will end. In the middle of all these frustrations I decided to give my landlord end of tenancy (I’m on month to month) I sent the notice yesterday to leave end of June ,4days short of 60 days. I know I’m supposed to give exactly 60 days but I’m living under torture and I would like to leave as soon as possible. I know I might have to push till July but I really don’t want to . What can I do?

I’ve rented the unit I live in for 5yrs and it seems like everything is breaking down. The chiller/AC was supposed to be turned on 3 weeks ago but apparently it needed repairs so until further notice there will be no ac. There has been the loudest construction going on in the last two month super loud working from home has become impossible. You wake up to the drilling and it goes on all day. I can’t open the balcony because it’s under repair so that means no ac or cool air from outside due to dust. Today I gave my landlord end of tenancy end of June because I’m going crazy and she came back saying I must stay till end of July. I know it’s 5 days short for the 60 days notice but things are bad. Also there is no instant hot water you need to run water for a while to get there. Any advice to get out of this or steps I can take because at this point I feel like they I’m owed an abatement.
