Hey everyone,
I’m having a weird issue with my laptop. Whenever I unplug the charger, my CPU speed gets stuck at 0.39GHz, and the whole system becomes extremely slow.
The only way to fix it is to restart the laptop after unplugging. After restarting, performance goes back to normal on battery.
Strangely, if I plug the charger back in immediately while it’s stuck at 0.39GHz, the CPU speed returns to normal without needing a restart.
Things I noticed:
- Happens only after unplugging charger
- CPU locked at 0.39GHz
- Restart fixes it on battery
- Plugging charger back in also fixes it instantly
- Temps seem normal
