Can anyone share their experience with recovery after a TV cerclage? My doctor gave me very little information, more or less “it’ll probably be fine”. But I’m a SAHM to a toddler! My husband is taking two days of PTO stay home with her (and pick me up after I’m done at the hospital), but I’m worried I’ll be struggling by day 3 with no backup childcare plans.

Can anyone share their experiences with a transvaginal cerclage? My mfm has left it up to me if I want one based on my history, but he could tell me very little about what recovery is like, or the rest of the pregnancy besides one extra ultrasound at 16 weeks (vs weekly checks from 16 to 24) I’m chasing a toddler all day, so I’m also worried if I’m better off with or without one with that level of required activity.
