I apologise if this topic has been discussed too much. I don't keep up much with this sub.

Belly seems way harsher towards Conrad's actions than Jeremiah's.

That time when she asked to borrow the car but Conrad said he wanted it and she got visibly upset. I think that is a sort of thing you can be understanding about. But when Jeremiah does something she isnt this upset and is more forgiving. Instances like - Conrad says Jeremiah was drunk during that night beach scene before his confession and she basically tells him to cut him some slack because it's his bachelor's party. But I get the idea that if Conrad got drunk and didn't show up like they planned, she would've been really upset.

The whole confession scene she keeps defending Jeremiah and speaks so harshly to Conrad. Sure, in Belly's eyes Conrad was horrible because he couldn't continue prom. If that was so horrible - how is cheating not? It is much more horrible, logically. But she defends him - "I knew that", "He doesn't take it away when it's hard", "No one has treated me the way he has, least of all of you". She forgave Jeremiah too quickly for that but couldn't forgive Conrad for grieving even after all those years. She also kept downplaying everything conrad and her had - "we dated for 2 months in high school and I'm somehow supposed to know that you're still not over that after all these years?" - I mean Conrad didn't have to mention Christmas or even the injury scene, Belly felt it, she had a whole edit of Conrad in her mind that day and still tried so hard to hurt Conrad by downplaying what they had.

And it's not like she's in denial and hasn't realised she is in love with Conrad. We have seen her have feelings for him despite dating Jere, we have seen her literally say "I only pictured Conrad", we have seen her have flashbacks of him, seen her say to herself "There will be a part of me that will always love Conrad" - and yet she constantly chooses Jere.

I just find it so hard to understand why she is 10 times harsher to Conrad than with Jeremiah. She gives him too much grace and with Conrad even the smallest thing is too much and too wrong for her.

And also help me understand the concept of Conrad and Belly being endgame - she has constantly defended and chased after Jeremiah. 2 months after breaking up with Conrad she gets with Jeremiah in season 2 and she made the FIRST move too! If she was truly in love with Conrad and he was her one true love, how was she able to move on so fast? Throughout season 3 even up till the last moment of their wedding she kept saying "Jeremiah I love you, I choose you". She agrees to marry him, fights with everyone to be with him.

In paper and in theory we are MADE to believe that Conrad was her one true love but in the show through her actions she has constantly chosen Jere except the ONE time during the finale. Jere and Belly had much more screentime as well. Help me understand Belly. Or even better - help me understand Bonrad.

TLDR; Help me understand why Belly is much harsher with Conrad than with Jeremiah even though logically Jeremiah has been worse at times.
