Tent vs Non tent for dry woods
We reside in South Florida. Over the past week we’ve noticed termites exiting our baseboard by our front door. Any given night we probably would have 10-20. We taped up the hole and the volume has drastically decreased.
We had an inspector come out yesterday who could not find any evidence of termites besides what we shared. We did save a specimen and he identified them as dry wood. He’s recommending a non tent solution where they spray and inject all exposed wood inside the house and in the attic. I like this because of residual effect, but am worried that it won’t be effective.
Any recommendations or reactions to tent vs non tent solution in this scenario? I’ve attached a bug pic for fun.
