Camcorder has a video issue and I need advice for repair/anything else
I have this vintage 1980s VHS sears model no.934.53745950 solid state ccd vhs movie video camcorder. so as you can see in the longer video, it took me quite a long time to get any video (could be because I have not tested it for a few months) , with some sort of almost static, but not really static, then finally I get video, except it just becomes white, when this happens, there is a little click. The audio works the whole time even while the video isn't working (sorry for the crappy music lol). The tape mechanism should work but definitely would need a new band --just because of its age-- so if you want a video showing it play a tape, then I may not be able to do that. I haven't opened the camcorder at all yet. The viewfinder doesn't work when I am testing the video, however it may work when playing a tape or there might be a setting within the menu... unfortunately I cannot access the menu even through the VCR mode. I used OBS studio to record all the videos shown in this post. If there is any information you recommend me adding to this post or any false information, please tell me.
