Hi everyone! I just started my first freshwater planted tank! It’s a 5.5 gallon and has live plants (unsure the exact species because they were in a random pack) but if anyone knows feel free to chime in! Also ignore the one that floated up I’ll get it replanted😅
I think I want to include shrimp in here but was wondering if there was anything I could put in here with the shrimp? I saw that some people have done rasporas? Looking for suggestions on fish that don’t burrow to protect my plants and hopefully won’t eat mature shrimp! I considered a single betta but I read they can get pretty aggressive with shrimp. I do have lots of plants and am planning on getting a wood piece or rocks as well for more hiding. Maybe a carpeting plant too or some floaters for some more variety but I don’t know if it’s enough to protect my shrimp from a betta.
