How to best approach this dent with what I have?

I have a set of the metal rod tool with different sizes of plastic tips where you can place hot glue to pull a dent. I also have the hammer and knockdown tool set. I have no experience with dent repair though.

I planned to either place the glue at the center of the dent and pull OR work my way by pulling from the perimeter to the center.

For context, this car of mine scrapes with a concrete wall pillar. It looked bad initially, as per the photo, but after hours of scrubbing, sanding, polishing and waxing, it looks much better. There are a couple of shallow dents however involving the body lines.

I don't mind if I mess up as my only concern is rust. Your advice is very much appreciated.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I absolutely can't go for local repair due to financial reasons and location for at least another year.
