Panasonic TX-P50VT20E Setup

Panasonic TX-P50VT20E Setup

I just bought this one, thanks again at everyone who helped me here.

I actually got beat by someone else to the original one that I wanted, but I guess it's fine as this second one I found here appears to be in excellent condition.

From what I saw with the base colors black and white it has zero perceptible burn in, appears almost to good to be true.

I suspect the panel will have switched to the highest level of the raised blacklevel given the thick layer of dust on the fans, yet as expected it stomps the slightly newer LCD it has now replaced anyway by a massive amount. A cave is actually dark inside, shadows really pop in, brown hair in a shadow looks way more realistic as well.

And then there there is of course the motion clarity, how effortlessly traceable things are on this even if they violently bounce around. Though I'm not yet certain whether it runs the frame interpolation or not at this point.

Though unfortunately it has several dead buttons on the remote, which includes the power botton as well as volume control which is stuck at at level 28. This means I can't yet use it with the audio system yet. The mute button still works but the continuous display of the mute sign is of course a big No No.

But all in all the errors appearing outside of the panel condition and control mechanisms is probably the best one could hope for with a used buy and I guess these errors should be fixable.

The Audio system consists of a Denon AVR-1312 with speakers that I took from a Pioneer Hi-fi set of the early 90's. The receiver is located deep within the left side of the TV table, alongside it being in a dimmed state and enclosed with the tinted glass, it is imperceptible enough to not be noticed when on while still being accessible via the remote.

The Sub is no longer in use as it would cause all the doors in the furniture to vibrate😁
