I am currently 10 months post-op and I have had two Achilles repair surgeries on the same ankle. For some reason, I still have a lot of pain in the bottom of my heel. For the second surgery, they put two screws in the back of my heel to anchor the Achilles and I am wondering if this could be a reason for it. It is strange because the Achilles tore higher up and I don’t have any pain there, but all the pain is in the back of my heel. I can do 20+ single leg calf raises on it so I am just confused and not sure what to do. Any advice?
