I‘m looking for a book from my childhood (2000ish Germany, book might be older)

Story details:

- little man leaves his house (maybe to visit his family for Christmas)

- he dresses in a fur coat and hat because it has snowed

-he ends up in a bears cave, where the bears think he is one of them
