Update on the crash

I was a little too honest and it turns out I did not have full coverage so insurance wont cover my wreck. This was my first truck so I know there might be some “attachment issues” but it really doesn’t seem that bad to me. I’m pretty mechanically inclined, and I can do all the work myself so it wont cost much more than 1k. so far i have realigned the cab and put new shocks and blocks in the rear. waiting on parts but she drives as is.

Parts list so far…

Taillights and harness
Driveshaft
Cab mounts and bushings
Lower rear shock mount
New shocks front and rear
Leaf springs
Fog lights
Alignment
misc bulbs and fuses

Crossmembers x3??

this morning around 5:00. I was about five minutes away from home when I fell asleep behind the wheel and put my baby into a ditch. 2003 Chevy silverado 1500 (5.3L 4x4) (125k miles) this truck has a very clean history, all the maintenance history from brand new until I bought the truck at 97k miles was there and checked out, truck ran and drove beautifully with a pretty clean body and frame. this truck is paid off, some say, I overpaid ($8500) but this was the truck I wanted and it was everything I could’ve asked for.

I need advice, no other vehicle vehicles were involved and no property was damaged. However, I filed the claim with insurance just to weigh out my options. i’m still waiting on them, but I’m not sure what you guys would recommend. It looks like it’s going to need at least six cab mounts. And it’s going to need a new rear end and possibly driveshaft. Everything else is basically cosmetic. It’s a truck it does not need to be perfect.
