When I was 9years old, my first attempt to fly something was using old cardboard medicine boxes. Yes, I know it sounds a bit silly, but this is something that grew with me.
Over the years, that curiosity evolved to something I am developing for about two years now. And honestly, I made a lot of mistakes in the way – real ones. Not just about aviation, but in life too. I went to Latvia for studying aeronautical engineering, but the department closed down, damn it :D After that, I couldn't earn money and I couldn't find a stable job there.
Now I understood a simple truth: I can't continue to develop like before. Because of that, I decided to make AirDarwin completely open-source.
I am 23 now and I think I need to focus for finding real job and build a more stable path for myself. If you guys don't interest in my project, I will step aside for now. But if someone interest, I am gonna cook again.
Either way, it was a long journey. Messy codes, broken parts, refactoring mess... all of it. And YEAH IT HAS A LOT OF AI MISTAKES AND COMMIT PROBLEMS. SO???? :D I hope you won't judge me for that, especially those who write "AI slop" in comments, just stay away :D
I guess it's not working out for me right now, it's time to find a real job. For me, it is the end of something, but I hope some of you show interest so we can keep it going. Don't forget sending me videos of the test flights. Just write my name next to the plane, that's enough for me. Thanks :D
