Cloud Gateway Fiber or Cloud Gateway Industrial for Small Businesses

Trying to decide between a UCG-Fiber and a UCG-Industrial setup for a local retail store and wanted some opinions.

The store needs 3 APs total. Originally, I was leaning toward the UCG-Fiber since I don’t really need an “industrial” gateway for this application, but once I started pricing everything out, the UCG-Industrial actually ended up being cheaper overall.

With the Industrial, I can avoid buying a separate 2.5Gb PoE switch and also eliminate one AP since the built-in AP would help cover the back part of the store. Once I factored in the cost of a 2.5Gb PoE switch and the extra AP needed with the Fiber setup, the Industrial setup came out cheaper while also simplifying everything a bit.

I do plan on adding cameras later, but I’ll be using a dedicated NVR and likely a separate switch for cameras, so onboard storage/Protect capability isn’t really important to me.

Curious what you guys would do here. Does the UCG-Industrial make more sense in this case, or is there still a reason to go with the UCG-Fiber + switch setup?

Currently the store has an older cisco 24-port layer 2 switch out at the front counter that connects all of the computers, printers, and credit card readers to the network. I plan to just reuse this switch for the mean time unless I run into issues. If I end up needing more ports in the back at the gateway itself, I have some extra flex poe switches I can deploy.
