My Dogs are A****les
My neighbors have very reactive dogs. They have a kennel in their garage with a doggie door to the back yard. Wverytime my kids or my dogs or me are in the yard, the neighbor bogs bark non stop. It doesnt matter front ir back yard.
I started my dogs on a leash and rewarded good behavior and we eventually started letting them off leash.
6 months later, my dogs realized the neighbor dogs would slow down barking since they weren't getting any attention.
My dogs will now casually walk up to the fence and bark once and the neighbors dogs will go berserk. Then they will Trott away and listen as the anti bark collars shock the neighbor dogs. They wait until the barking dies down again then go over and bark.
It took me a solid month to figure this out because my dogs will sniff around so casually and when I turn away, they bark once and resume business as usually.
The a*****les are doing this on purpose!!!
I work during they day and have resorted to kenneling them but I would like to start letting them use the doggie door again. However, the barking of the neighbor dogs are out of control.
And yes, we have tried the anti bark bird box and it doesnt even phase them.
What do I do???
