Trying to keep this as vague as possible, but the contractor I work for has given instructions that we are to make our time cards add up to full time hours, no matter what. This contradicts the actual hours we work. Upon recently learning that this is actually fraud, I am now questioning whether I should stay with this company.

A google search told me that the company is violating the False Claims Act, and this could potentially be a felony?! We have an employee who is in hot water for different reasons, but in the past they have repeatedly brought this up, almost as a threat if they’re let go.

How serious is this, given that we’re salary anyway?
