Hello all!
I want to clarify I'm not here to be a naysayer about the peptide, I just want to tell my horror story so that others can be aware if they come searching for side effects.
I want to also advise that my brothers my girlfriend and another family contact all used the same supplier, they are all still using and have limited to no side effects.
So this proves the supplier was legit as they are making progress and sometimes experience the common nausea side effect.
My journey started on week one, started with 1 mg.
It was great! No food noise and I felt full after every meal.
Noticed higher than normal heart rates, which was also great (more calories burned) and the variability was maybe only like 10+BPM.
The trouble started at day 7 when I should've started my next dose. I started feeling "off" and my heart rate went into the 120s when I wasn't being active. It wore off and I felt fine and shrugged it off. When I woke up it felt like I wasn't in my body, I could pass out at any minute. I couldn't focus on anything my heart rate stayed elevated. I had trembling and weakness. Blood pressure was really high so I self admitted to the ER. Nothing was found after EKG and blood work. Dr order me a heart monitor. "Episodes" come and go. I could be fine then out of nowhere I feel these very uncomfortable side effects and visually my lips go pale. I dealt with it for two days and then finally felt better for one day. But the next day symptoms returned I felt awful. Light headed, heart racing, weak and trembling. This cause me to have a panic attack on top of this and self admitted to ER again. Nothing found again. (Advised doctors of reta use both times). I had a couple more episodes after that but now I'm seeing a doctor to treat an acute traumatic stress disorder I'm experiencing after getting back to normal. I still work out days a week and cardio for two days.
I'm glad reta seems to be working for everyone! I was just one of the clinical trial problem children lol. Again just wanted to share my story in case other experience these symptoms. - you need rest, lots of fluids and food (even if you aren't hungry) and ample fiber to get the digestion going.
