Does anyone have experience with a flush mount/recessed cooktop on a quartzite countertop? We purchased the Miele KM6375 and a quartzite slab and after reading more about install we’re hoping for some examples of folks with this set up (or a different flush induction model) and quartzite.

We purchased illusion blue quartzite awhile back along with this cooktop: Miele KM6375 (installation guide shown in photo 2). Apparently the countertop has to have a recessed lip to allow the cooktop to install flush with the countertop. Has anyone had experience with this type of fabrication? A couple places we talked to said they couldn’t do it.
