My employer let me know today that they are splitting my current role into 2 and bringing in another person to share the role. The project area hasn’t increased in funding over the last year so it’s clearly not to do with increased work. Is there anything I can do? They said they didn’t “think” my pay will change. No letter or documentation of any form was provided. Is there anything I can do? Is this allowed? I really don’t want to loose these other areas.
