Malicious Chaos Ok?
Ok... have to share...
I have been getting an outrageous number of calls from a certain number. Like... 20-30 a day. It's 10:20 at night and my last call came in at 10.
I finally answered it. And they asked for a person I've never met. And when I started fussing about how I don't know who that is and why on earth they thought they should keep calling me... they then changed to... crying... and it was their "Aunt."
Ok... you're a collections call... I can hear your husband/bf in the back taking care of your kids... you didn't call this person by "Aunt so and so"... you asked for them by their government name.
Cool... cue malicious chaos.
I go FULL concerned teacher mode:
"OMG, DARLING! ARE YOU OK? ARE YOU SAFE? Do I need to call the non-emergency or emergency number for the police? Do you know where your aunt lives? Is she safe? Are you safe? I'm a mandated reporter... if you are in crisis... please let me know! I can find your location with this number... I'll go ahead and call that number I mentioned!"
Tears dried up... and I got hung up on. Hope her "Aunt" is OK. 🤣🤣🤣
