A few weeks ago I launched Slidetik

The idea was simple:
help founders create TikTok slideshows for their apps without spending hours writing hooks, stories and slide ideas.

Since it’s still a fresh launch, I’ve been talking directly with users every day trying to improve the product.

One user gave me insanely good feedback and started testing the slideshow strategy on a completely fresh TikTok account.

One of his slideshow posts hit 150k+ views.

( Btw i have the link of the tiktok if needed ).
Other ones also started pulling crazy reach.

But the wildest part?

He got 387 waitlist signups in a single day from those slideshows alone.

And the app wasn’t even launched yet.

I honestly think TikTok slideshows for apps/SaaS are still massively underrated right now.
Most founders are still trying to force polished “startup” content while simple storytelling slides are pulling insane reach.

The first slide matters way more than people think.

Still improving the tool every single day based on feedback from users.
Would love to hear if anyone else here is testing slideshow style content for their startup.

I’ve been testing a tool i built that generates tiktok slideshows

right now i’m testing the hook part

drop your saas link
i’ll run it through and reply with a strong tiktok hook for your app

kept seeing these simple slideshow posts on tiktok

just text on images

and they were pulling views

so i said alright let me try it for my own saas

started posting consistently

some flopped
but a few hit

we’re talking 150k+ views

that’s when it clicked

problem was it took way too long to make them manually

so i just automated the whole thing

built a tool that does it for me

now it’s basically:

idea → slides → post

in like a minute

the tool is slidetik.ai

you drop your product or idea
and it gives you:

  • hook
  • 9 slides
  • caption

ready to post

still early but it’s already bringing users in

curious if anyone else here is using slideshows or still ignoring tiktok like i was before

Launched this like a month ago

didn’t run ads
didn’t do seo properly
and i don’t even post real videos

just those dumb tiktok slides

literally just typing stuff on a few slides
explaining the idea quick
nothing crazy

but somehow that’s where all my first users came from
and yeah around 10 ended up paying

i didn’t expect that at all tbh

problem is tho
most people just watch and scroll

some click
few actually get what the product does

so it works… but it’s kinda scuffed

also making them consistently while building is annoying

so i hacked together something for myself
just to speed up making those slides

been using it for a bit now

not even sure if it’s useful to anyone else or just me trying to save time

anyone else here tried slideshows for growth?
did it actually convert for you or just views

and be honest
would you ever use something to generate those or nah

For the longest time i ignored tiktok

kept thinking content meant filming videos, editing, voiceovers, all that

couldn't be bothered

then i saw people posting those slideshow things

just text on images

looked dumb honestly

but i tried it

kept posting

that's it

ended up getting our first 500+ users from it

few things i learned:

first slide is everything if nobody stops there nothing else matters

don't talk about your product too early either

make the post about something people care about first

pain, mistake, story, curiosity whatever

then mention what you built at the end

most people make content way harder than it needs to be

i was doing this manually for weeks, took forever

eventually just built something to automate it

slidetik.ai if anyone's curious

Unpopular truth

a lot of founders are not losing because their product is bad

they’re losing because nobody knows it exists

building has never been easier

ai writes code
templates handle design
hosting is cheap
mvp can be live fast

yet so many founders are still stuck at 0 users

then they do what feels productive:

add features
redo landing page
change logo
rebuild everything
add more tools

but none of that fixes invisibility

the founders winning right now are not always the best builders

they’re the ones who know how to distribute

they know where attention lives
they know how to talk about pain
they know how to make people care
they post consistently
they repeat the message until it clicks

i’ve seen average products grow fast

i’ve seen great products stay dead silent

brutal but real:

the better product does not always win

the better distributed one often does

what do you think is the bigger bottleneck right now for founders:

building
or distribution

and be honest which one are you struggling with right now

Launched jan 2026 with $0 ads

no audience
no network
no investors

what worked?

  1. seo

i made pages around stuff people already search for

not “features”

real problems

why no users
how to grow saas
why nobody converts
how to get traffic

that traffic compounds

  1. tiktok slideshows www.slidetik.ai

most underrated channel rn

no camera
no editing
just pain point slides + good hook

some flop
some bring crazy traffic

  1. consistency

most people quit too early or build in silence

you need people to know you exist

if i had to restart today

seo from day 1
slides daily
collect emails early
repeat

I have a template for both seo and slides if you want i can send it over
