Am I being too strict?
I 25(F) have been friends with someone 26(M) for almost three years.
We met at an interview at a place where he worked and we exchanged numbers so he can tell me the questions to expect lol (I did not get the job)
He kept reaching out after the interview and at that time I was not so keen on striking a friendship but we somehow just ended up becoming friendly towards each other and talking most of the time.We've grown pretty close over the years
Now the problem is we've never met up since then (the interview).
There's a lot of times we've planned to meet then he just goes silent.
Our friendship honestly has been up and down because of that.
He opened up recently saying how he used to be scared of us meeting again because he's anxious.
That may be a good reason but I then wonder why he had to wait for 3 years to tell me this information.
He swears we will meet this month.
I have made a mental note to end the friendship (on my end) if we do not because I feel like I have waited for too long already.
Do meetups matter to you in friendships or am I being too harsh and we should just remain a text only friendship. I'm in a dillema
