32M EST Introvert, LF long-term co-op partner to beat games with

Looking for one person (open to expanding later after we build synergy). Specifically: someone who plays for hours most days, buys and beats multiple games a month or at least wants to, and gets a real dopamine hit from clearing the next challenge. If "gaming" for you means a chill hour of Palia after the kids are down, we're not a match and that's fine.

The idea: we keep a running list of every game we beat together, like achievements but for entire games. For more open-ended games we set our own clear condition (max difficulty, specific endgame goal, whatever fits) and that counts as our achievement.

I want someone who gets stubborn when a game gets hard. Locks in. Doesn't bounce after two rough sessions. I tend to clear most games and move on rather than endlessly grind open-ended ones (I play OSRS which scratches that itch for me), but there's always exceptions.

It's not super important what either of us is playing right now. If our approach to gaming in general is similar, that's what matters. There's a huge backlog of co-op games out there and a constant stream of new ones, so we'll always have something to dig into. Part of the fun is finding games to play together.

I'll drop a tiny sample here but don't feel limited by these: L4D 1/2, RoR2, Subnautica 2, OSRS (GIM maybe?), StS2, Helldivers 1/2, Diablo 4 & 2, Portal Reloaded, Wyldheart, Escape Sim 2, We Were Here games, Remnant 1 & 2, DRG: Rogue Core, The Long Dark 2, etc.

About me: 32M from Canada, work from home in health science, into gaming, tech, and music. Down for VC most of the time, but cool with quiet sessions when one of us is wiped, just listening to music and locking in. Morning person, asleep by 10pm EST, so I play earlier in the evening (western EU works too).

If that vibe sounds like home to you, please for the love of god, hit me up. DM or comment with your Discord and why we might be a good fit and we'll go from there.

Don't get hung up on what either of us is playing right now. The point is that our approach to gaming is similar. There's a huge backlog of co-op games out there and a constant stream of new ones, so we'll always have something to dig into. Part of the fun is finding games to play together.

32M EST Introvert - LF long-term buddy to beat games with

What's up. 32M from Canada, work from home in health science, into gaming, tech, and music. Looking for one long-term gaming buddy, ideally a fellow introvert who gets it.

Here's a silly idea I'm into: keeping a running list of every game we beat together, like achievements but for entire games. If you're the kind of gamer who gets stubborn when a game gets hard, you're exactly the nerd I'm looking for. I like to clear games and move on rather than grind open-ended ones (OSRS already scratches that itch).

I'm down for VC most of the time, but cool with quiet sessions when one of us is wiped from work. Sometimes I just want to zone out (or lock in) with music on.

Currently playing: OSRS, Slay the Spire 2, WoW TBC (raid logging), Diablo 4.

Stuff I'm hyped to play co-op, happy to buy on sale:

Shooters/action: ARC Raiders, Helldivers 1 & 2, Left 4 Dead 1/2 (never finished 2), Alien Swarm, Remnant 1 & 2, Outlast Trials

ARPG/roguelike: PoE2 (new league soon), Diablo 2, Vermintide 2, Risk of Rain 2, DRG: Rogue Core (later this month)

Puzzle/co-op: Portal 2 & Portal Reloaded, Escape Simulator 2, We Were Here, Two the Top, Brave Escape, Death Squared, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Jigsaw Puzzle Dreams, many others

Survival/sim: Factorio, Planet Crafter, Barotrauma, perhaps Subnautica 2 and TLD 2 on release.

Browser: NYT Connections lol

Open to suggestions too, lots more I haven't listed.

Schedule: morning person, asleep by 10pm EST. Looking for someone who plays earlier in the evening, or western EU works too.

DM me or drop a comment with your Discord and a game from the list you'd want to start on.

32M EST - Introvert LF chill gaming buddy (vc & text)

What's up reddit. I'm an introvert from Canada, into gaming, tech, and music, working in health science. Looking for my long-term buddy to game with and chat about our interests, etc. I want someone who is cool both with VCing and also chatting/gaming without VC once in a while. Sometimes I'm tired from work and just want to zone out (or lock in) and listen to music, so I'm looking for a fellow introvert who understands that. But most of the time chill VC is cool.

I think it would be cool to keep a running list of all the games we've beaten together just for fun, kind of like achievements but for entire games. I want to look for games to play together and beat a lot of them. If that sounds exciting to you, you're just the kind of nerd I'm looking for. If you're the kind of gamer who gets stubborn and persistent when the game gets tough to beat, even better!

Games I'm playing atm: OSRS, Slay the Spire 2, WoW TBC (raid logging), Diablo 4.

Games we could play: ARC Raiders, Left 4 Dead 1/2 (never beat all of 2), PoE2 (new league soon), Diablo 2, Vermintide 2, Portal 2 & Portal Reloaded, Escape Simulator 2, Risk of Rain 2, Planet Crafter, Outlast Trials, Remnant 1 & 2, Factorio, DRG: Rogue Core (later this month), Alien Swarm, Helldivers 1 & 2, Barotrauma, other co-op/puzzle games on steam (Two the Top, Brave Escape, We Were Here, Death Squared, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Jigsaw Puzzle Dreams, etc.), browser stuff like NYT Connections, and many more.

Feel free to suggest what games you're into, I'm down to buy games especially on sale if it looks fun. In general, I like to clear the game and move on rather than grind an open-ended game long-term (already scratch that itch with OSRS), but there's always exceptions.

I'm a morning person, work from home, and I'm asleep by 10pm EST every night so I'm looking for someone who plays a bit earlier (or is from western EU, that works too).

Hit me up if you overlap with any/all of the above.

32M EST - Introvert LF chill gaming buddy (vc & text)

What's up reddit. I'm an introvert from Canada, into gaming, tech, and music, working in health science. Looking for my long-term buddy to game with and chat about our interests, etc. I want someone who is cool both with VCing and also playing games with no VC / limited VC sometimes depending on how we're feeling. Hey, I'm an introvert from Canada, into gaming, tech, and music, working in health science. Looking for my long-term buddy to game with and chat about our interests, etc. I want someone who is cool both with VCing and also playing games with no VC sometimes depending on how we're feeling. Sometimes I am tired from work and just want to zone out and listen to music instead of VCing, so if you're a big extrovert it probably won't work out.

I also think it would be cool to keep a running list of all the games we've beaten together just for fun, kind of like achievements but for entire games. If that sounds exciting to you, you're just the kind of nerd I'm looking for.

Hey, I'm an introvert from Canada, pretty big nerd into tech and working in health science. Looking for my long-term buddy to game with and chat about our interests, etc. I want someone who is cool both with VCing and also playing games with no VC sometimes depending on how we're feeling. Sometimes I am tired from work and just want to zone out and listen to music instead of VCing while we game. So if you're a big extrovert it probably won't work out.

Games I'm playing atm: OSRS, STS2, WoW Classic (raid logging, waiting for classic plus).

Other games we could play: ARC Raiders, League, Left 4 Dead 1/2 (never beat all of 2), PoE2 (new league soon), Escape Simulator 2, random co-op/puzzle games on steam, etc. Feel free to suggest your own, I'm down to buy games especially on sale. Fair warning: I'm usually not into survivalcraft games, but sometimes there's an exception.

I'm a morning person and asleep by 10pm EST every night so I'm looking for someone who plays a bit earlier (or is from western EU, that works too).
