32M EST Introvert, LF long-term co-op partner to beat games with
Looking for one person (open to expanding later after we build synergy). Specifically: someone who plays for hours most days, buys and beats multiple games a month or at least wants to, and gets a real dopamine hit from clearing the next challenge. If "gaming" for you means a chill hour of Palia after the kids are down, we're not a match and that's fine.
The idea: we keep a running list of every game we beat together, like achievements but for entire games. For more open-ended games we set our own clear condition (max difficulty, specific endgame goal, whatever fits) and that counts as our achievement.
I want someone who gets stubborn when a game gets hard. Locks in. Doesn't bounce after two rough sessions. I tend to clear most games and move on rather than endlessly grind open-ended ones (I play OSRS which scratches that itch for me), but there's always exceptions.
It's not super important what either of us is playing right now. If our approach to gaming in general is similar, that's what matters. There's a huge backlog of co-op games out there and a constant stream of new ones, so we'll always have something to dig into. Part of the fun is finding games to play together.
I'll drop a tiny sample here but don't feel limited by these: L4D 1/2, RoR2, Subnautica 2, OSRS (GIM maybe?), StS2, Helldivers 1/2, Diablo 4 & 2, Portal Reloaded, Wyldheart, Escape Sim 2, We Were Here games, Remnant 1 & 2, DRG: Rogue Core, The Long Dark 2, etc.
About me: 32M from Canada, work from home in health science, into gaming, tech, and music. Down for VC most of the time, but cool with quiet sessions when one of us is wiped, just listening to music and locking in. Morning person, asleep by 10pm EST, so I play earlier in the evening (western EU works too).
If that vibe sounds like home to you, please for the love of god, hit me up. DM or comment with your Discord and why we might be a good fit and we'll go from there.
