Planning a False Hydra Early in the Campaign
Hello all, my group and I just started a new campaign a week ago. Currently at level 2. At some point I want to run a False Hydra and would love to start planning seeds now. I was thinking about giving items that do not connect to any of their characters.
One of my players is an Warforged with amnesia... maybe they had a party member that was an artificer?
Thinking two stages of amnesia for this PC
- One being the False Hydra, thats why he forgot the Artificer who moded him.
- Two being before he met the Artificer, his true amnesia. Hes some ancient lost artifact that the Artificer found.
Maybe the party's magic items they find from looting right now was really made by him? Having an initial written on it.
Any other ideas on how to plant seeds now for a fight that would take place a lot later on?
