Hi everyone, am a CS grad who just got rejected from GovTech TAP and was wondering if it was because my GPA didn't make the cut, or other reasons
I graduated with low second upper and had two prior internships at non-tech stat boards.
I applied with my resume with GPA and got the next form shortly after, which asked for my GPA, transcript and a short explanation of why I wanted to join. I used about 70% of the 200-word limit, writing about my interest in cybersecurity and the TAP rotation structure. A day later, I received the rejection email.
Given the notoriety of how slow the Gov moves in hiring, the speed of rejection took me aback and I just can't believe someone actually read my answer within a day and thought it was shit. Or was it just my GPA, or was it AI dubbing my answer as crap or not enthusiastic enough (the form was made with this company greenhouse which advertises AI hiring features)?
