Welp, I did it. My first FET was about 2 hours ago.

I’m going through a mix of emotions, I guess … first, I never thought I’d ever have the strength or confidence to go through this whole process. After the FET, I got into my car and I said out loud to myself, “did I just do that?”

I know the toughest part will be waiting the next 2 weeks, but I’m looking forward to just focusing on moving forward and hoping for the best.

When they showed the transfer of the embryo on the screen, I caught myself saying, “c’mon baby girl.”

My husband and I haven’t told ANYONE amongst our family and friends that we’re doing IVF. I felt compelled to share it somewhere, so here it is.
