I just wanna appreciate how welcoming and passionate most pilots have been towards aviation enthusiasts like us
Out of all the times I’ve asked to see the cockpit, I’ve probably faced rejection barely 5% of the time
Almost every pilot I’ve met welcomed me with genuine enthusiasm, answered every question with patience, and you can literally see their eyes light up when they realise you actually know stuff, fly on simulators, and understand the basics beyond rookie questions 😭 Suddenly they start explaining things in a much more technical way instead of the usual simplified answers.
and the whole conversation becomes sooo much more interesting
And honestly, huge respect to the lead cabin crew as well for not instantly tearing up my requests
Highly recommend this to fellow aviation nerds just deboard last, politely ask the lead cabin crew, and most of the time they’re surprisingly sweet about it
