Day 3 no sugar
A few years back I stopped my sugar intake for around a year . I did have a few days that I cheated but never had more than 6 g of processed sugar per day , I also did allow myself to have sugar free ( fake sugar ) coffee creamer ,
I’m trying it again but this time I’m not allowing myself to have any artificial sweeteners ,
I am letting myself have fruit and up to 2 tsp of Manuka honey. At least for the first few weeks so I don’t have the mental fog I had the few years back from detoxing.
Today is day 3 of no sugar
This is what helps me stay motivated
- convince myself sugar is poison
- sugar is inflammatory
- sugar is addictive
- my hair and nails grew stronger
- I maintained my weight for the entire year I quit sugar, first time ever ( I always gain weight in winter and loose it in summer )
I already have noticed that today even tho I feel satiated and that I ate more than enough food, I also don’t feel full or heavy at all. I have lost a pound already with no calorie counting ( could be water weight ) but this feels great. No brain fog yet .
Hopefully I can reduce my fruit intake as well as time goes on :)
