All the videos and forum articles are years old referring to the reset of the Ducati 848 throttle position sensor. The old way was to buy a 3 pin to connect to the bike with an OBD2 16 pin on the other. This would have alligator clips to get power from the battery.
Then you would need to get an OBD2 16pin to USB to plug into your PC.
With a downloaded program like JPDiag and then request the program code from someone online. If you have all of that you can reset the TPS and service, and I think a few other things.
I saw one video on YouTube that’s in Russian where someone used a wireless OBD2 unpinned it and figured out what 2 or 3 pins to plug into the bike and used an app on his phone to reset the TPS! I’m hoping it was real. The app was in English and it did seem to work.
Does anyone know if JPDiag is even around anymore?
Or has anyone done the wireless option with success?
