Good morning Everyone, I’m trying to figure out if I’m eligible for TEPSLF and what steps I should take next. I’ve been employed at a government agency since 2014. Around 2016, I started making payments towards my federal student loans (after exiting in school deferment 2nd MS degree) using the extended graduated repayment plan. I made continuous payments until the Covid administrative forbearance went into effect. During the forbearance, I didn’t make any payments. In Sep/Oct, when the forbearance ended, I resumed making payments but this time under ICR. Also around this time, out of curiosity (I wanted to know if I had any qualifying payments) and because of the Biden era one time adjustment (I had worked for another government agency 2011 - 2012 while on a standard repayment plan), I completed and submitted a PSLF/TEPSLF form to MOHELA. I called MOHELA and confirmed receipt but never received any correspondence afterwards. Last week, I logged into FSA ( after 3 year hiatus) to re-certify my IBR and noticed that my PSLF/TEPSLF form was located under activities. However, I was not able to find PSLF/TEPSLF payment tracker. Is this because the website is being updated due to recent court rulings? Should I be able to see a PSLF/TEPSLF payment tracker? I called FSA and the representative suggested that I re-certify my employment. I plan to do that this week. Having said all of this, I’m not quite sure where I stand. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
