Hello, I am Portuguese and my partner is British (not married, we will get recognised as a de facto union here).

We just got our AIMA appointment for the end of September. She can't work until then. This is beyond ridiculous. We are in Lisbon and the appointment is in Santarém.

Do you know of any way that we could get an earlier appointment? We're taking care of it with lawyers but was hoping to get some advice for those that have gone through this process themselves.
