Update: she has been reunited with her family!! she made it about a mile away from home through busy intersections. I miss her very much already.
This sweet sweet baby showed up on our doorstep Friday night meowing and didn’t leave. We took her in for the night so she’d be safe and she just went right to sleep in bed. We think she’s younger than a year, she’s pretty small. She is just the friendliest cat you’d ever meet. She loves pets. She sleeps through the night next to me. Uses the litter box diligently and LOVES wet food. We took her to the vet to be scanned for a microchip and she doesn’t have one. We’ve posted in multiple local groups and have gone door to door to see if someone is missing her but have come up short. We already have two cats and it’s causing some commotion in our house, our two cats not only don’t like her but now don’t recognize each other with the new scent in the house. It can take time for cats to accept each other so she would probably do well in a home with other kitties, but she would actually be the best first pet for someone since she’s so great. Obviously I don’t have much info about her, whether she’s vaccinated or has been fixed. I am asking for a $50 adoption fee to make sure the person is serious, but I am happy to include a cat bed and food for her. Please please reach out if you are interested. I really want her to go to a good home, I would like to try to find someone directly before taking her to a rescue. 💛
