Just top blokes, those fellas
Had a dinner reservation in Melbourne with work colleagues, I was happened to be a SNW shirt and as soon as we rocked up multiple staff pointed out that not only the band were eating at the same venue but were seated right next to our reserved table.
Got taken to our table and it was really cool seeing them there enjoying their meal. The restaurant staff and my colleagues kept hounding me to get a photo with them, but I didn’t want to interrupt them. Shortly after they got off up to leave so my colleague taps one of them on the shoulder and asked them to get a photo. Without hesitation they were more than happy to oblige.
Chino wasn’t there, but the rest of them were absolute top blokes. Got the photo, shook hands with them and they were on their way. I directly thanked Abe for the giving us great music over a number of decades.
