So yah, lost my second character this season last night to the dreaded "Connection interrupted" message. I usually try to build my characters to survive a few seconds of incoming raw damage during lag spikes, but standing right in front of Pindle's Temple entry when it happened, my poor Druid never stood a chance. By the time my character got finally logged out of the game he had been charged by more than a dozen Skeletons with big swords. So yah, RIP Dudu_Boi. My very first HC D2R character died at exactly the same spot, exactly the same reason, several years ago already.

After the death of my classic Sorc in similar circumstances, I even switched to an Ethernet connection because I suspected my wireless internet was the cause of it, but yah. to no avail. Gonna go through the time-consuming process of converting my online characters to single player (recreating all your charms+ rare and crafted jewelry in an editor is tedious as F), as I'm just done with online HC at this point.

Any similar experiences? Or is it just my internet provider who randomly kills my characters? I mean I'm not living in some outback, but a major German city.
