Hello people, I'm currently trying to use my Nikon Z50II as a webcam like I used to on Windows. When I plug the USB-C in my computer, it is detected, when I go in Discord or OBS studio, it is detected, but no video comes on display, it's either a black or loading screen. The camera is obviously already configured to USB streaming (UVC/UAC).
Am I forgetting something ? Does anybody have suggestions I should look into ?
Hello people, I actually know how to make a circumpolar pic using GIMP using "lighten only" but I'd like to go a step further. I wish to make a GIF or video with an effect of star trail progressively reveling itself, kinda like in The Green Knight movie. So far the only method I can figure out is :
import all my pics as layers and use "lighten only" (so far how I'm doing every circumpolar pics) ;
export the first layer, then fuse it with the second layer, export it, fuse with the third layer, export, repeat until all images are fused and exported ;
use KDEnlive to put all these exported frames into a video and voilà.
Thing is, it takes a tremendous amount of time and I keep making small mistakes that makes me go back and forth. Is there anyway you could think of to make it via scripts or such ?
If it's relevant, I use Bazzite as OS and GIMP 3.2.4 Flatpak.
