Hey lupus gang! I am recently diagnosed with SLE and Sjogrens overlap. I have been in HCQ for about 4 months and my dsDNA titers are up with pretty bad symptoms. So my rheum has decided we should go to a biologic.
I will have Benlysta infusions starting once every two weeks and then go up to a month.
My question centers around the month time period and what you do if you get sick with the cold or flu after. Like say I get an infusion June 1st. Then June 8th I get a cough and respiratory inflammation / mucus, plugged nose, the lot. Because I can't skip a dose and I'm just sort of on it for the month. What should I expect? And at what point should I actually go to the dr or let someone know? I also have asthma so in a high risk group already.
