I will be in Raja Ampat for diving. No birding experience, but there are tours for birds of paradise.

Currently in Hong Kong, I am considering Vortex Diamondback 8x42 or 8x32 (about 250 EUR each). Grey Import Ricoh Pentax 8x42 would be about half the price.

There are many other options (Nikon, Zeiss), but did not ask about price. Probably cheaper than usual retail (grey import). Thoughts?
