Not sure if it’s just me, but I’ve been noticing more people walking on the actual road even when there’s a perfectly usable sidewalk right beside them.

And it’s not just near the edge ha, some walk way too far out into the lane. As a driver, honestly, grabe gud kaayo na ka stressful, especially on narrow streets or at night. One small mistake and it could easily turn into an accident.

I get that sometimes sidewalks are blocked or in bad condition, but in a lot of cases they’re completely clear. Choosing to walk on the road just makes things riskier for everyone, esp for both drivers and pedestrians.

Even if I honk or flash at them, most do not even try to avoid and expects me to dodge them as they keep walking.
Im also a sidewalk user myself, and yea I know what it feels like on the sidewalk. But I always try to avoid the road.

Not trying to blame anyone, just genuinely concerned. We all share the road, so a little more awareness would go a long way.
