In a sense, psychiatry is the garbage collecting department of the establishment and the executive arm of philosophy. Their mission is to control sex norms and to ensure sexual freedom. This includes the removal / marginalisation from the public sphere, anything that causes a disturbance to the social order, and to a smooth existential experience of the "majority" or the universal globalist normal humans. This is undoubtedly but not exclusively about the sexual economics. Psychiatry helps regulate the dating market, including the crowds of free casual sex, and for the benefit of the younger sexually "emancipated" people. The progressive psychiatric establishment combines authoritarian power with socialism and progressive social sensitivity (sex-positive feminism), where it is quite leftist as it is, any furtherance would mean sexual communism
The problem with them is that they leave a pile of corpses after them and thus remain without a stock to satisfy their needs like blood-sucking folklore monsters and are always searching for more targets, more of the same food. That someone is a person from a rather humble origins, one who has personal inhibitions, boundaries, or strong normative loyalties in disagreement with the prevailing norms. They need it to maintain authority and relevance, but it seems public education protects a portion of people so, this pool is getting narrower and thinner, and they will now go for higher targets at the new bottom. Also, people mentioned weight gain from medication, and this isn't a coincidence - they operate like ravenous beasts and absolutely love a "juicy plump human."
The larger issue at bay is that the normalization of liberalism had brought about the rise and authority of psychiatry, and this isn't a coincidence. These aren't inherently conservative forces, even if some of them eventually side with social conservatism and traditionalism. This means psychiatry is structuralist but not normally conservative, which might confuse or seem more intuitive for conservative social order.
Psychiatry serves to regulate the psychic/epistemic costs of liberal modernity, ensuring individuals adjust to prevailing norms—particularly sexual and social—while obscuring the political and economic origins of distress. This happened because liberalism isn't cost-free or consequnces-free but was revolutionary and was warned against many times throughout history. So psychiatry became the janitor of modernization, democratisation, and liberalisation, and the aftermath they caused humanity. In today's world, this is about liberalisation - people who don't modernize well into liberalism and progressvisim. Those who don't know much about or stay out of identity politics are penalised. Essentially, this is still about the hardships of modernization and liberal / progressive modernity.
