I applied to extend my child care leave this coming school year (26-27) about a week ago and it took my admin a few days (this past Thursday) to hit the approval on their end. I thought it would just instantly go through after they did that but today went by without a notification. I called HR to see what was the hold up last week before I realized my admin hadn’t “approved” it yet (even though they did know about it, my payroll secretary just hadn’t gotten to it), and I sat on the phone for over an hour so not wanting to that again lol. Wondering if anyone else submitted and saw a turnaround time. I know it’s technically only been like 3 business days but I’m just confused what else is needed. I applied last summer for the first time on a Friday and it was set and done that next Monday.
