New PS5 owner here — first PlayStation ever, and I’m pretty new to gaming overall. I’ve put together my “must-play” list based on recommendations, visuals, story, and beginner-friendly picks.

Would love feedback from experienced PlayStation players:

I’m about to buy my first-ever PS5 Digital Edition (completely new to console gaming) and I’m super excited.

I need advice on the best compatible screen/monitor for PS5. My priorities are:
• Great visuals for story-driven games (Spider-Man, God of War, etc.)
• Good value for money
• Smooth performance
• Beginner-friendly setup

I’m confused between:
• 27” vs 32”
• 1440p vs 4K
• 60Hz vs 120Hz
• Monitor vs TV

Budget is flexible, but I want the best balance of performance + price for a first-time buyer.

From what I’ve read, HDMI 2.1, 4K, and 120Hz can unlock the best PS5 experience, but many players also say 27” 1440p is the sweet spot for value. (Reddit)
