Am I “Complaining” About This?
Ok… so this was stuck to the inside hole of my Maple Butter Donut today. I threw the donut out because it felt yucky to eat after finding this. Would you let it go, or would you contact someone somehow and ask for a replacement? I obviously didn’t save the donut, but I took pictures. I go to the same location everyday and get a tea or coffee and a donut. Never had any issues before!
Also— the wrapper was ripped completely in two pieces so it’s weird that both pieces were shoved into the donut hole. Why can’t we just be a bit more careful? 😭 I was looking forward to my morning sugar rush lol
**UPDATE** I called the store and told them what happened, also offering to send the picture I took. The manager was really kind and put in an IOU for whatever I wanted for breakfast tomorrow. She was absolutely mortified and explained that this is the second issue with the same baker… I hope no one is getting in trouble, but happy they were as grossed out as me! I said I didn’t need a free breakfast and would just like my donut replaced and she said she was more than happy to pay for my entire breakfast because I was kind about things. Yay for a simply sausage on a pinched croissant tomorrow! 🎉
