MBA school recommendations
I’m trying to decide between several FTMBA programs and would love to hear perspectives from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with these schools.
Background:
- International student
- Biotech / healthcare research background (have around 3 years of industry experience)
- Interested in pivoting into healthcare strategy, business development, consulting, or broader business roles after MBA
- Long-term interested in healthcare/biopharma, but also want flexibility if I eventually pivot industries or even start something myself (was thinking of personal care, but nothing planned yet)
Current admits:
- Boston University Questrom (Health Sector MBA) + scholarship
- Northeastern MBA + scholarship
- Babson College MBA + scholarship
Still waiting:
- USC Marshall
- UCLA Anderson
Assuming I got into all 5, which would you choose and why?
If only considering the three from Boston, which would you pick?
I’d especially love perspectives on:
- Alumni network strength
- Career outcomes/recruiting
- Entrepreneurship/startup exposure
- Location (Boston vs LA)
- School culture / collaboration
- Brand reputation long-term
