I am tired of all the hate Immortal gets. He does not deserve it. He is not weak, everyone else is just stronger, and even then he was able to make omni-man bleed and was giving him some trouble. He is honestly such a tragic character, he has been through so much but yet he still decides to fight for and protect the earth. Who do you think was taking care of all those threats before Nolan showed up? He has had to witness every single person he has ever loved die, he has died so many times but yet he keeps getting back up and keeps fighting. He has fought for earth and humanity before Nolan was even born. Yes does he maybe lose his mind in the future but thats future him not current him. Immortal is the definition of the indomitable human spirit, he might be too weak to win some fights but he is too strong to give up. Yea does he retire but thats because he already gave the world enough. Immortal is a badass.

The executioners said that they should investigate Nolan’s lineage to see if the rot goes any deeper. His idea of being merciful and caring about others instead of only focusing on strength was in his blood. Nolan betrayed Viltrum for his sons the same way his dad broke the traditional ritual of adulthood, by stopping his mom from killing him. Nolan technically failed the ritual since he was going to be killed if it wasnt for his dad.
