i get that dti needs a theme overhaul and needs to remove boring themes like bestie hangout and redundant themes and such but people are starting to suggest themes i actually like 😭

i get how maybe themes like "candlelit library" could come of vague but i also dont??? cause to me it reads as a sort of romantic academia and its a really specific nice theme imo

and i also get why everyone want themes like airport outfit and grocery run off the game, but i wanna humbly ask atleast not to remove them all T.T, cz as a casual realistic/urban style player occasionally i love those themes since like, not everyone goes to the grocery in plain pajamas?? themes like it could definitely be cute if it was up to the attitude of whos dressing up.

maybe its the fact that you lack the ability to possess a personal style, or to create a fit that isnt monotonous, but that doesnt excuse you from hating, when youre hating on some1 is highranked or not.

underlayered and flat=overlayered and messy, just as equal, both bad in cases, both can be good when styled nicely or to peoples tastes.

maybe people have just been desensetized to hating on the latter all because those that dress like it are mostly high-ranked tryhards, as if being a supernova on a fashion game actually shields you from harrassment just as being privileged in the capitalist system does? but the top model who likes hits item limit will be just as bummed and hurt as if you were to go hate and post about a kid thats a glamourista with five items on all in hot pink. both hate, still.

like i get gagas overall theme was alt and for alt style but i dont even see myself or others using it for alt themes. like, even if i wanted to make a hyperpunk outfit, i still cant use the items. their all hard to layer with *unique* yeah, silhouettes but also incredibly diffcult, and like, dupes of existing items?? most are all textured with no ability to material and pattern, and at most i can see people using the heels to get taller or the cute lace tights. the other ones?? no 😭😭😭

then its like, obviously a matter of personal taste but its just concerning the complete LACK ive personally seen of appreciation for the katseye items. like i totally get, couldve done 100x better, but still, all the tops are great layering pieces, the skirts meh (manon's shorts are so tea and detailed with great toggles tho), but the shoes though are all rlly unique and amazing, dont lie to me. especially megan's toggled to just the soocks, ive been dying for an item like lana's legwarmers that didnt have a terrible shape, and ive been blessed. the dresses are also so pretty for elegant and ethereal themes too. dont play!! dont lie!!

also the brat items are significantly better than both of these duh but yeah

*obviously* this has very clear exceptions but i just wanted to point something out— yes, obviously most dti influencers need to be cancelled right tf now and be held accountable. but i see so many people here misusing this arguement to the point where it harms other dti influencers that in no place have done harm.

if a player is making a video thats somewhat mature, (suggestive?, gorey, etc.) to post on THEIR social media, as an adult they have the perfect right to do that.

if a creator goes on dti and posts on social media to make, say, gory outfits, revealing outfits, or post about serious topics i dont see the issue with that? if any other consenting adult were to post on their, say, instagram, to post a reel wearing short shorts to go to the beach, or speak up on their stories about serious issues regarding discrimination and p*dophilia, why condemn them if they also happen to post the same content through the dti socialsphere?

i sort of get the arguement; but still, content creators have the right to limit their audiences and if a child were to see a blocky model wearing a bloody head or a summer bikini on INSTAGRAM, then that's on the parent for not managing their child's social media.

"but dti itself is a kids game!" even then, thats largely debateable. as a platform, roblox is ageless until the safety regulations and the government got involved. and just because its a free videogame doesnt mean that. if you wanna be technical, dti's rating is minimal, 9+, which means that yes, kids *can* play it, but ADULTS are not limited to it either; in which the dti community has a large portion of adults aswell. plus, most these creators are posting these videos that they made in their PRIVATE servers to post to their LIMITED audience anyway, so whats your issue?

obviously its an issue when its reaches a point where the "mature" content goes beyond content creation. and can just be straight soft porn or discrimination/cultural appropriation in itself, but then using this same arguement on other non-serious, non-issue situations lessen the impact that it gives on ACTUAL issues. so save the drama, girl.
