28 years old - twitching for 7 months. All of a sudden I have built up saliva I swallow and it’s freaking me out. I can eat drink and swallow normally but it’s like the saliva is building up and I need to swallow it myself and my body is not doing it naturally. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi all - wondering if anyone has experienced the same. I have been twitching for 8 months now. I have had thumb twitches before but a new one is freaking me out because I can induce it myself. Whenever I ball up a paper towel, toilet paper, paper, etc that movement causes my palm under my thumb to twitch for a few seconds moving my thumb. Any help or same stories?
