How do you feel about people starting to view the Gods you worship as being complex and multifaceted beings, rather than simply a “God of” or “Goddess of” something only?

For a long time people tended to view the various gods and goddesses as simply being just a “God of” or “Goddess of” something specific only based on what has been repeated in pop-culture in society for way too long.

But the actual theological beliefs and traditions in the Greco-Roman world (in Ancient and also lots of current Polytheistic cultures) show and present the gods and goddesses as being rather complex and multifaceted beings, rather then just one label they’re given when the reality is often much more complex and detailed.

As someone who studies this sort of thing in my own free time. I for one welcome the fact that more people have begun embracing the historical truth about how contrary to what we have assumed.

Gods are not one dimensional and are actually quite multifaceted in religious traditions and practices as a whole. I mean just look at all of the epithets many of them possess in religious traditions and mythic tradition, it’s pretty clear they were not simple.

TIL Veteran Comp-Force units are given "power armor" which functions much like the armor of the Imperial Stormtrooper's.

Also Contrary to what I first assumed, Comp-Force units do wear helmets of sorts. Although they do not really seem to be fully enclosed like the helmets with Stormtrooper corps personnel, and thus lack any of their internal features such as various sensors, the tongue-activated-comlink, and the Multi-Frequency Targeting and Acquisition System that the Imperial Stormtrooper corps possesses.

Although according to the Rebel Spec-Force handbook by West Endgames, their armor does provide the same protection against things and certain hazards like (Shrapnel, Explosions, Kinetic weapons, Kinetic attacks, and Blaster fire) much like Stormtrooper body armor does.

Although the fact that Standard Comp-Force units seem to not get said "power armor", and it seems to function more like the partial field armor and helmets of Imperial Army Troopers (and Navy Troopers), and it's only the "Veteran" units that get the special power armor is kind of messed up considering the fact that they have an 88% Failure Rate.

Only 12% of young volunteers from the Sub-Adult Group typically passing the Comp-Force Assault training. Roughly 20–25% of recruits died during training exercises.

Along with how when used in the field, Imperial Army field-officers and higher-ups often used Comp-Force units as "soak" units, and missions that would result in high casualties for them, while protecting more experienced troops.
