Under the spending tab, I'd like to get a formal definition of what the following means:

1. Spending

2. Shortfall

3. Surplus

To me, this tab should be showing me where the money is coming from that totals my estimated expenses. What is the difference with the various items above?

Also, in my decumulation strategy, I've asked the AI strategy to leave my TFSA to last, yet it seems like it's completely emptying it first, and leaving my RIF/LIF as the last to go. Is there a setting that I'm missing?
