Hi All,

26 male that has experienced back pain of various degrees over 10 years. Currently, I cannot lift weights or practice any compound lifting, or I will invariably hurt me back. Every day, without lifting and only during cardio and calisthenics, I experience a constant low back ache and pain. No sciatica or numbness and pain is mainly lower back and neck. I practice exercises to help(low back extension, Big 3, etc), but I am usually always in pain.

I went to an orthopedic doctor to get an MRI, and he referred me to PT which I ended up not going to because copay was 200$. Since then, I’ve been icing my back and wearing a brace daily to manage the pain.

I have slight scoliosis (X-ray) and chiropractors have been no help. Should I seek out another specialist for an MRI? There seem to be placed near me that provide injections, no intrusive devises or surgeries, but I don’t know who to go to.

Any advice is appreciated!
