My family is moving from US to Ontario, CA in June 2026 and we are planning to live in Oakville. We have a 2 yr old toddler and we are looking for good daycare options starting between mid June to early July. While reading online, it seems like there is a lot of wait time to find a daycare in Ontario in general. So my questions are,

1. What is the average wait time for toddlers age 2 and above?

2. If not subsidized rate daycare, are there any good private daycare options available where there is less wait time?

3. What are other alternatives to toddler care since I and my wife both have to commute to work.
